Semnan Governor Alireza Ashnagar announced;   Despite the public prepration to apologize general public for all the executive agencies of the province for welcoming travelers and tourists to Nowruz;   This year we are not in a position to welcome the travelers not to travel to Semnan province.

Deciding to close tourism facilities and hotels in Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari province in coming days

Mehrdad Javadi، Director of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Office in Chaharmahal & Bakhtiari Province   It is forbidden to set up tourist camps and tents in the parks until further notice. Daily disinfection of tourism and accommodation centers is underway.  According to the issued circular, hotels and travel agencies are not entitled to hold any cancellation fees.   Currently, it is forbidden to accommodate travelers in government residences, pilgrims, schools and student dormitories.

Disaster in hotels of the capital. Hotel Occupancy Rate decreased to zero.   Mohammad Ali Farrokhmehr, the head of Tehran Hoteliers Association announced;   The hotel business has declined to 98 percent and almost all hotels and apartments are closed.   This year we have had a 40% reduction in occupancy rate despite all discounts, but this has fallen to zero since last week, as the corona virus outbreak in the country.   Despite the problems, the employers have paid their salaries in full for March and we hope to return to normal by April.

Karim Rasoolzadeh, Vice President of East Azarbaijan Hotels & Hotel Apartments Association  Measures needed to prepare for the Corona virus, such as staff training, infection control in hotels using disinfectants, and training on how to deal with travelers has been taken.  During the past month, passport control and identification of people who have traveled to China and Qom in recent months have also been carried out by activists.

Deputy of Tourism of West Azarbaijan, Rozita Khezrzadeh;   Health recommendations and instructions have been communicated to all residential accommodations throughout the province to prevent the spread of coronavirus.  Hotels cooperation in the province is very good and some have even provided travel packages for travelers before safety and security announcements.

Worrying situation of hotels and accommodation centers in Qom

Ahmad Fallahian, secretary of Qom Hotels and Hotel apartments Association, announced; There is no guest to be accommodated in Qom hotels.  All reservations have been canceled and we have refunded the full payment without any penalty.   There are no disinfectants; no gloves, no hygiene or alcohol.   We have asked the Chamber of Commerce to allocate a separate quota to the city's hotels where guests are traveling, but we have not received any answer yet.

Coronavirus has made Isfahan hotels empty of travelers

Karim Beigi, head of the Isfahan Hoteliers Association;   Coronavirus depleted the capacity of Isfahan hotels and hotel occupation rate in Isfahan decreased to about 2%.   We have no instructions to avoid receiving travelers, but all tours have been canceled and travelers have canceled their travel to Isfahan.  Following the order of the Deputy of Tourism Minister, all hotels were required to return their travel funds.

"Maghsoud Asadi Samani"  the secretary of Airlines Association;  Passengers who have received a ticket prior to Feb 26th can cancel their ticket and are not penalized.   But travelers who have attempted to buy ticket after Feb 26th are going to  cancel it, will be subject to a fine.
