Northern tourism on the verge of bankruptcy

With the outbreak of coronavirus, the tourism market of Mazandaran province has suffered severe and significant financial damage.  According to the statistics announced by the provincial authorities, the amount of this damage has been about 550 billion tomans so far.  So far, more than 2,200 private sector tourism enterprises in Mazandaran province have registered to receive unemployment insurance.

All cities will have a comprehensive tourism plan by the end of the year

The country's Deputy Minister of Tourism announced;  The "Tourist City" project has a scientific dimension and cities are evaluated and ranked from the perspective of city officials, tourists, local communities and managers.  The "tourist city" creates competition among city officials for the development of tourism infrastructure, which the provinces should take advantage of.  By the end of the year, all 31 provinces of the country must declare their position in terms of tourist city and tourist destination.

"Mohammad Mirshamsi" Deputy of Investment and Resource Supply of Yazd Province;  These hotel projects which have been invested on for 350 billion rials, and 118 people will be employed.  Another 59 projects are expected to be completed and operational by the end of this year.

"Mohammad Mirshamsi" Deputy of Investment and Resource Supply of Yazd Province;  Capacity of the facilities of the Budget Law of 2018 and 2019 is a factor of prosperity and mobility in order to create employment in the tourism sector, growth of infrastructure and support of investors.  Since the announcement of these facilities until now and with the cooperation and support of banks as well as the pursuit of project investors, the amount of 69 billion rials has been paid to projects under investment.

Additional renovation measures, including strengthening the roof covering, will be carried out, and finally, with the end of the structural operations this year, decorating project  will begin.

Abolfazl Mokaramifar, Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi Province;  Since the beginning of the twelfth government, 100 ecotourism resorts have been opened and this number will reach 160 by the end of this year. The highest number of eco-tourism resorts is in "Neishabour" city with 12 centers and the lowest is in "Jovin and Khoshab" city. In addition to the centers that will be operational by the end of the year, 165 accommodations have also received approval lawfully.

The activity license of the professional community of eco-tourism resorts of Khorasan Razavi was issued

Abolfazl Mokramifar, Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi Province;  This activity license was handed over to the chairman of the board of directors of this organization and is valid for two years.  Currently, licenses have been issued for four professional organizations in the province.  Organizations of the professional community of hospitality and the Association of Tourism Education Institutions of the province will be formed soon.

Approved in a public meeting of Isfahan City Council;  Extension of the exemption for issuing hotel and guest house construction licenses for a period of 3 years  The bill was approved by the city council in 2014 and has been extended twice in recent years. The main purpose of approving and extending this bill is to increase and complete the infrastructure of the tourism industry in the city of Isfahan.  During the last year, permits have been issued for the construction of 18 new hotels in the city of Isfahan.

Nader Fallahi, Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Ardabil Province, announced;  In order to organize the activities of travel agencies, the priority is to issue operating licenses with specialized and thematic agencies.  Support for specialized tours is emphasized.  The issuance of an operating license for agencies is subject to the approval of the relevant organization, and without this approval, the license will not be issued.

Tens of billions of tourism revenues in Khorasan Razavi province vanished

Abolfazl Mokaramifar, Director General of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Khorasan Razavi Province;  The revenue of the province's tourism sector last year, with more than 32 million domestic and foreign tourists, was between 100,000 and 140,000 billion rials.  This amount of income includes all sectors related to tourism, including transportation, accommodation, catering, souvenirs, etc.  This year's revenue has dropped by more than 80 percent, with more than 90 percent of tourists and travelers.
