The total revenue of hotels in the three-to-five-star category in Oman has risen by 8%, according to statistics revealed by the National Centre for Statistics and Information.
Revenue recorded was OMR155.235 million till the end of September 2019, when compared to OMR143.693 million for the same period last year.
According to data, revenue in the month of September alone rose to OMR13.9 million, a 6.2% rise when compared to the same period last year.
While the total number of guests recorded until September 2019 were 1.3 million, the month of September recorded 121,000 hotel guests.
